The actions of this incompetent and corrupt British government should not surprise anyone. They pack the cabinet with jobsworths and unelected peers, waste billions on illegal wars and bailing out failed banks, and further billions on propping up the economies of Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland. My mother, who is 85 and lives in Ramsey can apparently no longer get travel insurance, and so will not be able to leave the island and see her grandchildren.
